Earthquake!
Hey everyone,
I’m back from Hokkaido, which was amazing (heaps of good snow, food, fun times) and now I’m just trying to get used to being back in classes again. Just found out this morning that I need to learn about 25 new Japanese verbs for a test tomorrow morning. Yikes.
Anyway, just thought I’d mention that I experienced an earthquake yesterday for the very first time in my life. It was small here in Osaka (at the time I was thinking “hmm… why is someone shaking my house?”) but was apparently pretty strong elsewhere.
So incase you were wondering, I’m fine. Not crushed under a house or freeway.
PS I’ll write more about Hokkaido later and post some photos.

Glad you “experienced” an earthquake without being in a BIG one. So the skiing — how did it compare to Fernie? Michael had an amzing 4 days of skiing in Fernie about 3 weeks or so ago — powder up to his waist. All’s well here. It’s Knut’s b’day today and he and Colleen went out for dinner. maybe we’ll be able to gather at their place for cake on Thurs. Colleen is having a Spring jewellery show on April 14. Have you checked out her web site lately?? I shall assume you got the 25 verbs learned for the test. Have you taken a few moments to reflect on what you knew/didn’t know 2 months ago? Keep posting to your blog I really enjoy my visits to Japan through you — which I usually check out just before going to bed — always makes me smile. Take care.
